CROWDFUNDER!
We've been really bold in expanding our programme this year but it comes at a cost, and several organisations that supported us in our first year are not able to help again this year. If you can make a contribution, large or small, it will help us guarantee that we can deliver everything we're planning for to the highest possible standard, this year and in the future. Donate now

NEW for 2025!
Performers Platforms Performers Platforms are a space for amateur and student ensembles from across the UK to present their music in an informal setting to an appreciative audience. A Platform might be shared between several ensembles, and your slot is likely to be 20-30 minutes in length. Performers Platforms will take place in the Swift Suite in Whately Hall on both Saturday and Sunday. Places for groups to participate are limited, so if you would like a slot for your group please contact us with your details. We may not be able to offer a Platform to everyone but we will do our best! |
NEW for 2025
Second Hand Instrument Emporium!
So often we find people with instruments to sell, and then weeks later, hundreds of miles away, we meet someone who's looking to buy one! Or someone comes on a course and lets slip that they're thinking of buying a bass recorder, and someone else has one for sale but they didn't think to bring it... This is our solution!
How it works:
- There will be a table (stand) in the Market Place where second hand instruments can be exhibited and tried. The stand will be next to the Festival Desk.
- If you want to sell an instrument you bring it to the stand with a label securely attached to it giving your phone number. - There will be a volunteer on the stand to supervise people trying the instruments. The volunteers are not responsible for selling your instrument or handling any money.
- If someone wants to buy your instrument they will phone you and make an arrangement.
- If you bring an instrument to sell at the Emporium, you are one of the volunteers! You need to commit to manning the stand for one hour on the day or days that your instrument is there. Email us to sign up.
