Sarah Jeffery is one of the world’s foremost promoters of the recorder, and performs regularly on stages and festivals all over the globe, from Brazil to Singapore, Finland to New Zealand. Sarah loves everything about the recorder, and her greatest passion is to share with her audiences why she loves it so much. Medieval and folk, to high baroque, to contemporary music, every day is a new musical adventure!

Off-stage, she is recognized as an expert on the instrument, from regular appearances on the BBC radio and television to recording the soundtrack for Bob’s Burgers. In 2022 she was appointed ‘Recorder Professor Specialising in Contemporary Music’ at the Royal College of Music in London. Her popular YouTube channel Team Recorder has garnered over 200,000 subscribers and aims to make music education more accessible. She is currently published by Schott Music.

This concert is generously supported by the Society of Recorder Players
